I absolutely love the series of books by Jim butcher called The Dresden Files. they are like old, comfortable friends to curl up and go to bed with. They are entertaining, witty, full of suspense and action but also he has moments of insight that I just love like this one!

He could not be more on target with this excerpt which is why my female friends are a lot more limited than my male ones:) :
